The keynote speakers for the inaugural Australian National Homebrew Conference have been confirmed as John Palmer, the author of How To Brew, and Jamil Zainasheff, homebrew writer and broadcaster, and the reigning Ninkasi Award winner at the American National Homebrew Competition.

The conference will run from October 23 to October 25, 2008 at the William Angliss Conference Centre in the Melbourne CBD. It will be held in conjunction with the Australian Amateur Brewing Championships.

We'll be featuring a varied range of presentations on all things brewing, plus plenty of opportunities to taste fantastic homebrewed and commercial beers, meet other brewers and suppliers and heaps more to be announced at a later date. Hey, we've gotta build suspense somehow! The event will culminate with a fantastic gala dinner where the winners of the AABC will be announced.
