THURSDAY MICRO TOUR - CHANGE OF DESTINATION
We know some people have been a bit confused about the finishing location of the Thursday Microbrewery Tour - we'd just like to confirm that it will be at Transport in Federation Square (corner Flinders and Swanston Sts).
So now it should be easy for any ANHCers who are in the city on the Thursday evening to meet us there! The tour group should arrive at 7pm.
We'll have a special roped off section and you'll be able to order meals from their bar. As a special bonus, they'll be serving special beers from some local micros - you'll have to come along to find out what they are!
Looks like it should be a good way to kick off proceedings!!
GLITTERING PRIZES
What kind of homebrewer doesn't like free stuff? Lets face it, you'd get drummed out of the homebrewing fraternity if you refused to take on any kind of old junk on the off chance that you may one day ferment it/serve beer out of it/use it in your brewery.
No old junk here though, our fantastic sponsors have donated a bunch of awesome prizes!

TOURISTS' GUIDE
If you're coming from out of town and looking for some tips on where to get a beer, buy beer, or even - heaven forbid - do something non beer-related, you're in luck. We'll have our Tourists' Guide to Melbourne up on the website over the weekend.
It will be a handy printable PDF with a corresponding Google map, and we'll also have some hard copies to give away at the conference.
CLAUDE NINE LABEL
Here it is! Sorry about the quality, obviously you'll see it up close and personal next week.
Massive thanks to Richard Seakins for the design, Waterwheel Press for the printing, Rory Murphy for the name and Claude Nyaguy for providing the inspiration!
VENUE DIRECTIONS
For those who are unsure about the location of the conference venue, the address is Level 5, 555 Latrobe St, Melbourne. In practical terms, the entrance is on Latrobe St just west of King St. Enter the building and the lifts are on the left. Go up to level 5. Click here for a map.
For those coming in by public transport, Flagstaff station is one block up the hill on Latrobe St. Don't forget, Flagstaff is closed on weekends. Not to worry though, Southern Cross (AKA Spencer St Station) is only a short walk away too.
Conference registration kicks off at 8.30am each day, with presentations starting at 9.00am.
ACCREDITATION DETAILS
If you haven't sent in your accreditation details, please do so ASAP. This will make the conference registration a lot easier for you on the day. Click here to go to the accreditation page. |
