Adjunct: Australian Honeys Are Not All the Same

Details

Too often, persons hear Australian honey and think of harsh eucalyptus or bland mixed blossom supermarket honey. Not anymore! It's time for single source honey to shine.

All have unique flavour profiles and add so much depth to all types of brewing which will be discussed over this presentation.

FREE event :: This Adjunct event conflicts with The Malt Renaissance / Stu Whytcross - Voyager

The session with Steve will examine:

  • Macadamia
  • Scotch Thistle
  • Mallee
  • Orange Blossom
  • and so many more

Steve Kirby Bio:

Steve has been brewing commercially for 8 years, and as an amateur for a further 22 years, culminating in a gold medal in 2014 at ANHC for his bochet, Odin's Reserve which has gone on to be one of Stone Dog Meaderies staple products.

Steve and wife Lavender own and operate one of Australia's leading craft meaderies.
