Building on the blog, Scott authored The New IPA: A Scientific Guide to Hop Aroma and Flavor. The book pieces together research from hundreds of peer-reviewed papers to help inspire experimentation, better understand results, and ask questions for future studies. In 2018, Scott co-founded Sapwood Cellars, a brewery in Columbia, MD that specializes in brewing hoppy and mix-fermentation beers.
